Sweet, cold, and dangerous. Peach nectar and moonshine are made for each other — this one goes down fast, so pour responsibly. Best in peak summer when Montana peaches are coming in from the valley and you've got nowhere to be until the fireflies show up. Five minutes from bottle to glass. Zero reasons to overthink it.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz moonshine
  • 3 oz peach nectar or fresh peach juice
  • ½ oz fresh lemon juice
  • Splash of lemon-lime soda
  • Ice and peach slice to garnish

How to Make It

1

Add moonshine, peach nectar, and lemon juice to a shaker with ice. Shake well for 10 seconds.

2

Strain into a tall glass over fresh ice.

3

Top with a splash of lemon-lime soda. Garnish with a peach slice and serve immediately.

Pro Tips

  • Fresh peach juice blended from ripe peaches is the move — nectar from a can works great too.
  • The lemon juice keeps the sweetness honest — don't skip it or it tips too far into candy territory.
  • A frozen peach slice instead of fresh will keep the drink cold longer without watering it down.
