The Moscow Mule made a wrong turn somewhere in Wyoming and ended up in Montana — and it's better for it. Moonshine brings a clean corn sweetness that vodka simply can't match, and the ginger bite cuts right through. Sharp, cold, and completely satisfying.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz moonshine
  • 4 oz ginger beer (not ginger ale)
  • ½ oz fresh lime juice
  • Ice
  • Lime wedge and fresh mint to garnish

How to Make It

1

Fill a mason jar or copper mug with ice to the top.

2

Pour 2 oz moonshine over the ice.

3

Add lime juice, then slowly pour ginger beer over the top. Stir once.

4

Garnish with a lime wedge and fresh mint. Serve immediately.

Pro Tips

  • Use ginger beer not ginger ale — brewed, spicy, not sweet.
  • Squeeze fresh lime. Bottled juice kills the brightness.
  • Pre-chill your mason jar 10 min in the freezer for a proper frost.
