Some things don't need improving. Good moonshine, a clean glass, and the good sense to leave it alone. This is the recipe for when you've earned it — when the day is done, the work is finished, and the only thing left to do is sit somewhere that deserves it and drink slowly. No mixers. No garnish. No nonsense. Just the spirit itself.
Ingredients
- 2 oz moonshine
- A clean glass
- Optional: one large ice cube
How to Make It
1
Pour 2 oz into the glass. Add ice if you like, or don't — both are valid choices made by reasonable people.
2
Sit down somewhere that deserves it.
3
Drink slowly. You've earned it.
Pro Tips
- Room temperature brings out the full character of the spirit — try it both ways and decide for yourself.
- If you add ice, one large cube melts slower and dilutes less — don't use crushed ice.
- A clean, odor-free glass matters more than you think — rinse with cold water before pouring.
